Neelima software engineer infosys

Software Engineer. Java Developer. Java Engineer. Mainframe Developer. Okay place to start your career. Plenty of resources to help you study and train and offices are clean and provide a good work environment.

However, often unclear as to who you report to and it's easy to get lost in the shuffle in between projects. Onboarding teams are often unhelpful demanding you fill out parts of a form that don't exist or not answering emails until days later because of being on the other side of the world.

Due to the contracting based nature of work, nearly impossible to ask for a raise and often you won't be given one for a while despite Infosys charging the client nearly double for your services.

Pros Large number of projects, Good facilities, Varied number of clients. A very mediocre company full of mediocre people who do mediocre work. Not for the exceptional.

It's a good way to get in to the industry but try to advance out as soon as possible. Pros Easy money. Cons Not challenging. Lots of opportunity to learn either by online or through work. Online training offers instructor-led or just recorded one. I like instructor-led class which is worth attending. Pros Getting paid while on bench. Cons Moving from one project to another. Very professionals and fun people to work with! I just get my offer from Infosys, at the interview culture they were very friendly and professionals.

The other interview I did with two people and they are so professionals and kind. Pros bonuses, diversity, carrier grow. Cons Not that I noticed. A good place to start your career as a software developer. Depending on the client you will like or hate your job. Management is really bad and doesn't know what they are doing most of the time. Their internal apps are terrible and constantly having issues. I think it's ironic that they want us to deliver a good solution for the clients but Infosys cant make a decent application for timesheets, referrals, allocation, leave time, etc to save its life.

The culture isn't great either. This is not a U. S company and it shows. Management treats its employees poorly and employees just go along with it. Indian management clashes a lot with the American workforce due to cultural differences and a lack of respect for personal time and work-life balance as if everyone in the company is here on a visa and owes Infosys their life for being in the U. Pros Good place to start career. They will give Jr developers a chance. Cons Bad management, pay isn't good, culture is not American.

Good place to start. I have been working less than 9 months. You can expect a lot of meetings with offshore team in your evening time. That makes me sad. Worst management that I had ever seen before. Pros Job safety, Good clients like Cisco, Apple etc. Cons compensation and quality of work. During the training period of two months it was fast paced, yet you learn a lot, however after that communication and future career development goes away.

This company is horrible, pretty much everybody in the company is looking for a new job. The management is awful, and turnover rate is really high. I left the company over a year ago, and they are still bugging me about returning the work laptop which I have returned on my last day.

I think the HR who took my laptop also left the company, so they can't trace the laptop anymore. I want to contact the HR department about the laptop issue, but nobody ever reply my E-mails or take my phone calls.

The good and the bad. It's a great company to work for if you don't mind relocating for projects. They have a bunch of clients so you'll expect to always be busy.

I quit because they would decrease my. You have to rely on managers allocating you to a project. However, some of them are incompetent or lack communication which puts you at risk of termination if you spend too much time not allocated to a project. Different from American culture. Free training is supported. This is a contract house.

Infosys gets large contracts with large companies, throws in a team and needs excellent results. You are put onto a team anywhere. Must be able to move to any city in the US on short notice. Your skill set is not always used for placement. The culture is strongly Indian with many subtle differences from American culture. Pros Great training opportunities. AP Rain. This story is from August 2, While the police have registered a case of suspicious death, the parents of the girl are suspecting foul play.

Raidurgam police said B Neelima, 27, came to the Gachibowli office of Infosys at around 8. She was immediately rushed to Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, where she was declared brought dead. The CCTV camera footages checked by the cops revealed that she had entered the Hyderabad campus at 8.

Deputy commissioner of police Madhapur , T Yoganand, told TOI that in the security camera footage shows Neelima moving unaccompanied in the main building of the Infosys campus and also in the parking lot building. But, at In the last one-and-half years, Suresh on one occasion went to the US to meet Neelima and celebrate her birthday. It was on this occasion that Neelima had introduced him to Prashanth along with several other friends. However, Suresh said he was unaware of any more details about him," the Raidurgam police said.

After cracking the email password and collecting the call detail record CDR of Neelima's cellphone, the Cyberabad police found several mails sent to Prashanth besides the lone mail to Suresh in the last few minutes before her death.

When Suresh was questioned about it, he told us that his message box was full and hence the SMS might have not been delivered," an official said. After unlocking the phone of Neelima, police found that she had deleted all SMSes from her phone.

In the email sent to Suresh, which according to police he checked only after her funeral, Neelima had informed him about the payments she was supposed to make and to whom her gold and flat in Chandanagar was to be given.

As a result, the family members requested police to stop the investigation since they no longer have any doubts about her death being a case of homicide," officials said. With the available information, police have come to a conclusion that Neelima went to Infosys with a determination to die. They are now gathering information on the reasons behind her death.

Since Prashanth was a former employee of Infosys, police are ascertaining whether Neelima and Prashanth knew each other from the days he worked at the IT major or they became friends only after they moved to the US. Police are also trying to find details from Neelima's laptop. Rahul August 11, at AM. Newer Post Older Post Home. Subscribe to: Post Comments Atom.
